• Exact: Set a specific width and/or height. With aspect ratio locked, the missing dimension is calculated automatically.
• Scale %: Multiply original dimensions by a percentage. 50% halves the image; 200% doubles it.
• Fit box: Downscale (or upscale) the image to fit within a maximum width and height while preserving proportions — same as CSS object-fit: contain.

When You'd Reach For This

Most image resizing happens at the worst possible moment: a form rejects your 8 MB photo, a CMS wants exactly 1200×630, or an email bounces because the attachments are too heavy. Your Images Stay On Your Machine

Everything runs on an HTML canvas inside your browser. Files are read locally, resized locally, and downloaded locally — nothing is uploaded anywhere. That matters when you're resizing unreleased product shots, client work under NDA, or personal photos you'd rather not hand to a random image site.

FAQ

Does upscaling work?

Yes — Scale % goes up to 400 and Exact mode accepts any dimensions. But upscaling can't invent detail: a 200px icon blown up to 2000px will look soft. Fine for backgrounds, not for print.

Which output format should I pick?

WebP for the web (smallest files, keeps transparency), PNG when you need lossless output, JPEG for photos headed to older systems. The quality slider disappears for PNG because PNG is lossless.

Is there a limit?

20 files per batch. Individual file size is bounded only by your browser's memory — huge images process, they just take a moment.
