HunterMussel ("we", "us") operates huntermussel.com, a site offering software engineering articles, case studies, and free developer tools. For anything privacy-related, reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

Contact form. When you use our contact form, we store the name, email address, and message you submit so we can reply to you. That's it — we don't add you to a mailing list.

Usage data. Like most sites, we collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type) through the analytics services described below.

Our tools. The free tools on this site (image converters, formatters, generators, and so on) run entirely in your browser. Files and text you process with them are never uploaded to our servers.

• Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager — to understand how visitors use the site. Data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.

• Email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data you've sent us through the contact form.

Data retention and security

Contact-form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. The site is served over HTTPS, and we don't sell or share your personal data with anyone beyond the service providers listed above.

Children

This site is aimed at software professionals and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes won't apply retroactively to data collected under a previous version.
