What it does

Re-encodes raster images to your chosen format using the browser canvas. Dimensions stay the same unless the decoder applies color profile quirks — for most web assets the pixel grid is preserved.

How to use

  • Drop or select up to 20 images.
  • Pick PNG, JPEG, or WebP and set quality when available.
  • Click Convert, then download files individually or use Download all.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded when I convert formats?
No. Files are read with the File API and processed with canvas in your browser. Output blobs download directly to your device.
What happens to transparency when I choose JPEG?
JPEG does not support alpha. Transparent and semi-transparent pixels are composited on a white background before encoding.
Why is PNG quality hidden?
PNG output is lossless in this tool; there is no quality slider. JPEG and WebP use the quality percentage for lossy compression.
How does this differ from the WebP Image Optimizer?
The optimizer focuses on WebP exports with resize and size comparison. This converter lets you pick PNG, JPEG, or WebP per batch for mixed delivery needs.
